You should probably be acquainted with Half Prince before reading it but it's an excellent Original Character story on it's own, though having read half prince lets you understand the universe and canon characters in an amusing fashion. I think it was originally in Taiwanese.

Surprisingly, Half Prince itself isn't really BL/Yaoi, but a gender-bender story instead. You gotta read it to get it though.
